New Africa Skills Development is a BEE compliant, F P and M SETA accredited (full accreditation) training service provider.  We specialize in herbicide, chainsaw and brushcutter training and have various courses available.

Our mission is to provide consistent, high quality training to all levels of herbicide applicators, and machine operators in Southern Africa.  By so doing, we are striving to continually improve the quality and safety of all related operations.  We play a key role in contractor/small business development by equipping candidates with the knowledge and legal requirements to run vegetation management operations on a sustainable basis.


We have provided training for companies that include Mondi Forests, SAPPI, Safcol,Eskom, Municipalities, etc

We specialize in the following markets:  forestry, conservation areas, game farming,
industrial areas, road-verge maintenance and rangeland sectors.

New Africa Skills Development prides itself in being the first training service provider to provide a Registrar (Act 36, 1947) approved short course, which would qualify candidates to apply for a Pest Control License (category: Weed Control).

We have a mobile clinic available to conduct on-site medical examinations, audiometric tests and lung function tests.  This clinic in managed by a qualified nursing sister.
